Super Mario Bros. Crossover 2.0

Similar to the recent Abobo’s Big Adventure, fans of retro gaming are in for an awesome trip through the history of gaming!

If you’ve never seen it before, Super Mario Bros. Crossover is a fan-developed flash game that remakes Super Mario Bros on the NES. It appears just as the original Super Mario game did, but with options to play as characters from other classic NES games along with Mario himself!

Check out this lineup of all-star NES characters (game in parentheses):

  • Mario (Super Mario Bros)
  • Luigi (Super Mario Bros)
  • Samus Aran (Metroid)
  • Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden)
  • Link (The Legend of Zelda)
  • Bill Rizer (Contra)
  • Simon Belmont (Castlevania)
  • Jason & SOPHIA III (Blaster Master)
  • Mega Man (Mega Man)
  • Bass (Mega Man)
    (there are bonus hidden characters & skins too, but you’ll have to find them for yourself!)

Super Mario Bros. Crossover 1.0 was first released in 2010 by developers Jay Pavlina and Zach Robinson from Exploding Rabbit and has since been revised with numerous versions over the past year, culminating in Version 2.0!
