Comic Book Chronicles Ep. 380: Rest in Power, King Boseman

Presented by The CSPN…

Welcome to another exciting episode of Comic Book Chronicles!

This week, Marvel’s Empyre comes to an Endgame with this week’s Empyre #6 and Agent_70 and Roddykat are here to tell you all about it and other books that have been released this week! It’s New Mutants versus the Media in New Mutants #12.  Richard Rider is a hero in crisis (of a sort) in Guardians of the Galaxy #6. Bitter Root closes out its second arc with this week’s issue #10.

In the news, the guys speak on the passing of actor Chadwick Boseman. Our sincerest condolences go out to his loved ones. Perhaps also check out his other movies: 42, Marshal, Get On Up, 21 Bridges, and Message From The King along with your re-watch of Marvel’s Black Panther. Marvel’s Silk looks to be getting a live-action show from Sony. New Mutants came out in theaters and did about what one would expect, honestly. Star Trek: Discovery adds first-ever non-binary and transgender characters in its third season.

Kate Bishops is the first hero to join the Marvel’s Avengers game after launch. By the way, that game is out and Roddykat likes it(spoilers). The House of X joins the Contest of Champions mobile game. Let Kevin Conroy show you the Waze as his iconic Batman gives you directions! And #kliqsoftheweek are all new, some different!
