Welcome to another exciting episode of Comic Book Chronicles!

Programming note: There…let’s say, technical snafus plaguing this episode, so there will some less than stellar audio in parts of this one. Also, because of other complications, despite the numerous times mentioned in the audio version, the video version of the show has been lost to the ether. Hopefully, going forward, there will be no such issues….Hopefully. NOW, on to the show…

This week, Agent_70 and Roddykat discuss what some would say is a quite important, but also polarizing event from the annals for DC Comics’ history 2004’s 7 issue Identity Crisis by Brad Meltzer and Rags Morales. A quick word of warning If you plan on reading this: There is a scene depicting sexual assault that those sensitive to might wary of(around 1:26:26- 1:27:10 mark).  It is also dared to be said but should go without it, that there will be spoilers galore for what happens during the whole event, as it has been with other events covered in the past.

Before that, Agent_70 runs down a couple of new releases that he’d read this week that some might find of interest. And of course, there is a nice helping of news to round out this week’s meal such as: There’s a rumor that Bruce Timm may be returning to the DCAU to direct another film! Wonder Woman 1984 has been delayed…again. That Insomniac developed Miles Morales Spidey game is indeed a standalone game. Don’t call it a sequel, though. There’s a gameplay trailer for the upcoming Star Wars: Squadrons game. Marvel’s ‘X of Swords’ event doubles in size to 24 parts! Immortal Hulk set to end at issue #50. The comics industry mourns the loss of acclaimed writer, Denny O’ Neil. Denys Cowan teases the return of Milestone Comics!
