10 Comic Book Women We Admire


Today is International Women’s Day, a celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women and their many achievements across various fields.

Here at the CSP, we admire women in the form of our listeners, readers, guests, guest hosts and the subject matter which we discuss. There’s always an appreciation for a woman’s touch, especially in the comics we read. So with a helping contribution from our friend Empressive Geek (follow her on twitter @EmpressiveGeek), here are 10 comic book women whom we admire:

Diana Prince is an Amazon warrior who is also one of the founding members of the Justice League. Face it, you can't have a women in comics list w/o WW, and she is one of the three most important characters of the DC Universe, also known as the Trinity.
