Stan takes some time out to chat with host Classick and guest-host Rodimus Prime (host of The Black Guy Who Tips podcast) to talk about his songs from Transformers: The Movie, Bloodsport, Kickboxer, the soundtrack to Sailor Moon, Chikara Pro Wrestling and his musical career overall. We also found out about the many television ads that he’s provided vocals and voice-over work for along with many more interesting facts about the man behind “The Touch”. In a career spanning over 3 decades with over 11 studio albums, Stan Bush has reached millions the world over with his songs of determination and triumph. We had a great time speaking with him and learned a lot about how much he’s accomplished from then all the way up through now, as Stan is still putting out awesome music to this day!
On Sunday, May the 6th, Stan Bush will be performing an acoustic set live at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA as a special guest of Styx, REO Speedwagon and Ted Nugent! Tickets are on sale right now! Event info and tickets are available over here: The Greek – Events Page

Worldwide icon of melodic rock Stan Bush is best known for his song “The Touch” featured in Transformers: The Movie (1986) and Boogie Nights (1997). An anthem for Transformers fans around the world, “The Touch” was released for the video game Guitar Hero in 2009, was featured on the NBC comedy Chuck, the Fox animated series American Dad, in two Hasbro Transformers toys, and was voted the #1 Geek anthem of all time! Another of Stan’s songs “Til All Are One” is featured in the new Activision video game Transformers: War for Cybertron!
Stan’s critically-acclaimed 2007 release In This Life (named “Album of the Year” for 2007 by RockUnited.com) features a new version of “The Touch.” Another track from the album, “Til All Are One (Transformers Theme)” has served as the official theme for BotCon, a global gathering of Transformers fans, and is also featured in the Transformers: War for Cybertron video game as well.
In 1997, Stan won an Emmy Award for Best Original Song for his track “Til I Was Loved By You.” Another Bush original, “Capture the Dream,” was featured at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. His songs are heard in two Jean-Claude Van Damme films: Kickboxer (1989) and Bloodsport (1988), both of which spawned numerous sequels. Stan has co-written with many top songwriters like Jonathan Cain (Journey,) Jim Vallance (Bryan Adams, Aerosmith,) and Paul Stanley of KISS. Stan has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe in his storied career.
Dream the Dream, Stan Bush’s 11th studio album, finds the veteran singer/songwriter on top of his game, delivering the kind of powerful melodies and positively-charged lyrics that have earned him a loyal following that spans the globe.

“You Grew Up On It!”
Awesome job on the show! I’ve been following his music since TransFormers but was still blown away at all the other work he’s done I never knew about. For someone that’s been in the biz for decades he seems like a pretty cool, down to earth guy.
