The Super Bowl this past Sunday was a great game. The ads, not so much (I’m looking at you, Volkswagen & Audi!)… however there were a few that weren’t awful (Avengers, Assemble) and one in particular struck a chord with any 80’s children watching…
MetLife, coincidentally, the name-holder of the stadium that the New York Jets and the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants (yeah, it hurts to type that) regularly play in, put out a pretty cool commercial that started with their usual Peanuts characters walking out to a meadow, immediately to be joined by He-Man, BattleCat, Pepe Le Pew and that female cat he’s always chasing, Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, The Jetsons, Richie Rich, Voltron and a whole slew of other old school cartoons… Check it out below.
